Favorites on Sawyer let you save activities and educators you love, organize them into custom lists, and share recommendations with family and friends. This guide covers everything from accessing your favorites to creating, managing, and sharing your lists.

🔍 Accessing Your Favorites

Learn how to find your favorites on Sawyer. You can access your favorites in two ways:

Quick Access via Heart Icon

Log in to your Sawyer account at hisawyer.com
Click the Heart Icon in the upper right corner of your screen
You'll land on your My Favorites page showing all your curated favorites lists

Full View via Account Menu

For a comprehensive view of all your favorite activities and educators sorted into single long lists:

Log in to your Sawyer account at hisawyer.com
Click the dropdown menu next to your name in the upper right corner
Select My Favorites
You'll see all your favorite activities and educators compiled into individual lists. Click the Heart Icon to view your organized favorites lists.

Favoriting an Activity

Find the Heart Icon on any activity card or listing
Click the Heart Icon
In the Save to List modal, select an existing list or click + Create a new list
Name your list (if creating new) and press Done. Your activity is now saved to your selected favorites list.

Favoriting an Educator

Click the educator's name (underlined) on an activity card to visit their business page
On their business page, find and click the Heart Icon or Save to Favorites button
In the Save to List modal, select an existing list or click + Create a new list
Name your list (if creating new) and press Done. Your educator is now saved to your selected favorites list.

Favorite an activity or educator by clicking the Heart Icon
In the Save to List modal that appears, click + Create a new list
Name your new list (for example: "Summer Classes," "Sarah's Favorites," "Dance Studios")
Press Done

Your activity or educator automatically saves to your new list. You can add more items to this list anytime by favoriting additional activities or educators and selecting the same list name.

Setting a List to Public or Private

By default, new lists are Public, which means they can be shared with others via a link. You can change this anytime:

Navigate to your Favorites
Click into a list to open it
Locate the gray box labeled Private or Public
Toggle to change the setting—changes save automatically

What this means:

Public lists can be shared via a shareable link with family, friends, or anyone you choose
Private lists are for your eyes only and cannot be shared

To share a favorites list with someone:

Navigate to your Favorites
Click into the list you want to share
Make sure the list is set to Public
Click Share
A shareable link is copied to your clipboard—paste and send it to whoever you'd like to view your list

They can click the link to see all the activities and educators you've saved.

Renaming a List

Navigate to your Favorites
Click into the list you want to rename
Click the three-dot menu (•••)
Click Rename List
Enter the new name—changes save automatically

Deleting a List

Navigate to your Favorites
Click into the list you want to delete
Click the three-dot menu (•••)
Click Delete List
Confirm the deletion

Important: Deleting a list is permanent. All items saved to that list will be removed and cannot be recovered.

Can I share a private list with someone?

No. Only public lists can be shared via link. If you want to share a list, change it from Private to Public first, then click Share to get the shareable link.

What happens when I delete a favorites list?

The list and all items saved to it are permanently deleted and cannot be recovered. Make sure you're ready to delete before confirming.

Can I favorite the same activity in multiple lists?

Yes. When you favorite an activity, you can choose which list to save it to. You can add the same activity to multiple lists by favoriting it multiple times and selecting different lists.
